overview the forms feature allows you to create custom forms directly within the portal to gather information from employees, clients, or any portal users you can use forms for a wide range of use cases—like employee onboarding, offboarding, surveys, internal requests, and more 👨🏻🏫 walk through 🚀 getting started accessing forms navigate to the forms tab in your portal you’ll see a list of your existing forms you can add an existing form from another workspace (if marked as global ), or create a new form from scratch 🛠️ creating a new form step 1 add basic info click create new form give your form a name (e g , “employee offboarding”) optionally add sections to break the form into logical parts step 2 add a section click add section to create a new section add an optional description for the section sections help paginate long forms for better user experience step 3 add questions you can add questions to any section using the add question button available field types include field type description short answer for single line responses (e g , name) paragraph long form answers rich text add non interactive instructional text or headers signature/initials signature box that users can sign or initial with their cursor multiple choice select one option from a list checkboxes select multiple optons from a list dropdown select from a dropdown list file upload upload documents, images, etc you can specify allowed file types and size limits linear scale collect ratings (e g , 1–5) multi choice grid a matrix style question where users can select only one option per row using radio buttons useful for comparing options or assigning preferences within categories (e g , “rate your satisfaction for each service area”) tick choice grid a matrix style question where users can select multiple options per row using checkboxes ideal for capturing multiple responses across a range of categories (e g , “which tools do you use for each task?”) date uses a date picker time uses a time picker ✅ tip you can mark any question as required , which prevents form submission unless it is completed 🧩 organizing sections forms can have multiple sections to improve usability when multiple sections exist, users see progress like “section 1 of 2 ” be sure to check which section you’re adding each question to—questions are section specific 📄 saving & publishing the form step 1 create a form page go to your pages area and create a new page (e g , “offboarding form”) step 2 add form to the page choose the form you just created from the dropdown list and click save step 3 assign page to a group (or an indivudual) go to the groups section add the form page(s) to a group to grant access to specific users you can re order pages (e g , show onboarding before offboarding ) 🧪 using and testing forms users will see assigned forms in their portal view fill out the fields, upload files, and submit required fields must be completed before proceeding upon submission, users will see a “form successfully submitted” confirmation 📊 viewing responses as an admin return to the forms tab click on the desired form select responses to view submissions click view on a submission to see individual responses view uploaded files display digital signatures ✉️ notifications & data integration email notifications you can set a receiver email to receive alerts when a form is submitted customize the email message as needed connecting to a dataset optionally, push form responses to a demo dataset this allows for deeper analysis and reporting through visualizations or even predictive modeling ✅ best practices use clear section titles and descriptions to guide users use file type restrictions to prevent unwanted uploads always preview your form as a user to ensure usability consider using multiple sections for longer forms to reduce overwhelm 🔚 that’s it! you’re now ready to start building and deploying custom forms inside your portal whether you’re collecting feedback or managing internal workflows, the forms feature is flexible, user friendly, and powerful
