## Overview

Global pages are reusable pages that can be shared across multiple workspaces. They are ideal for content that is consistent across teams or departments but still allows selective sharing.

## 👨🏻‍🏫 Walk Through

## 🔑 Key Concepts

- **Global Page**: A page that is not tied to a specific workspace and can be shared across any number of workspaces.
- **Workspace**: A group or environment that contains its own set of pages and users.

By default, a global page is not visible in any workspace until explicitly shared.

## 📄 Viewing Global Pages

To view global pages:

1. Go to the **Pages** section in the admin panel.
2. Global pages will be labeled as such.
3. If a global page is not visible in a workspace, it simply hasn’t been shared with that workspace yet.

Example:

- You may have a global page titled Graph Card.
- Even if it’s listed globally, it won’t appear in your workspace’s page list until it is shared with that workspace.

## ➕ Sharing a Global Page with Workspaces

You can selectively assign global pages to specific workspaces:

1. Entered you desired workspace.
2. Navigate to **Pages**.
3. Select **Add Existing Page**.
4. Choose the global page you want to share.
5. Submit to add it to the current workspace.

## 🛠️ Creating a Global Page

There are **two way**s to create a global page:

### Method 1: From the Admin Sidebar

1. Go to the **Pages** tab in the admin sidebar.
2. Click **Add Page **at the top right of your screen.
3. Enter your content (e.g. HTML, text, etc.).
4. Optionally choose a workspace, or leave it unassigned.
5. Use the **Advanced Features** toggle to:
 - Enable **Auto-assign to new workspaces** (optional).
6. Save the page.

⚠️ The “Auto-assign” option means all **newly created workspaces** will automatically include this global page.
:::

### Method 2: Promote an Existing Page

If you’ve already created a page in a workspace and later decide it should be global:

1. Open the page editor.
2. Toggle **Advanced Features**.
3. Click **Promote to Global**.
4. Save the page.

Now the page becomes globally accessible and can be assigned to other workspaces.

## 🔄 Assigning a Global Page to Workspaces

Once a page is marked global, you can assign it to additional workspaces:

1. Open the global page.
2. Click **Assign Workspaces**.
3. Select the workspaces (e.g. Sales, Markeing, HR, etc.).
4. Save.

To verify:

- Go to one of the assigned workspaces.
- Open the **Pages** section.
- You should see the global page listed there.

## ✅ Summary

- Global pages are **reusable**, **sharable**, and **selectively assignable**.
- They reduce duplication and streamline multi-workspace management.
- You can:
 - Create them from scratch.
 - Promote existing local pages.
 - Share them with any number of workspaces.
 - Set them to auto-assign on workspace creation.
