This guide will walk you through setting up a ClearSquare portal application, covering both the administrative and user aspects. We'll be running examples on a local server environment, using different ports to simulate distinct domains for the admin and user sides.
- You will have an Admin and User domains: The software runs on two different domains one for the admin and one for the user sides on different domains (e.i., we will give you CNAMEs to add to your DNS to ).
- Admin Side: Accessed through analytics-admin.yourcompanyname.com (default port).
- User Side: Accessed through analytics.yourcompanyname.com. In a live environment, the client will have their own URL.
- *Admins will have access to both the user portal and to the admin portal.
Click the Settings cog on each of your spaces -> Appearance, and you'll be able to customize anything on your soon-to-be portal.
Hit the big blue Publish Space button at the top right to preview your portal for the first time. Or connect your domain in less than 10 minutes if you can access your domain's settings.
